Pregnancy
Care
We provide compassionate, personal midwifery care throughout your pregnancy and following the birth of your baby. You'll receive family-focused pregnancy care from your initial lab work to regular ultrasounds in the privacy of a small, welcoming women's care center. Family members and friends are always welcome!
Annual Exam
& PAP Test
At Midwifery Arts, we believe that every woman deserves access to gentle, personalized gynecology and well-woman care - from your first period until after menopause. We provide PAP, breast and pelvic exams. Don't skip your annual exam. Just 2 minutes - the time it takes for a typical PAP test - can save your life.
Birth Control &Family Planning
Let our certified nurse midwives assist you with your family planning. We provide contraceptive counseling and services, including prescriptions for oral contraceptive pills and diaphragms, IUD insertions and removals, as well as the insertion and removal of Nexplanon, a hormone-releasing birth control implant.
Menopause
Symptoms
Just because menopause is a normal part of a woman’s life doesn’t mean it’s easy. Menopause symptoms can impact your entire life — and you shouldn’t just suffer through it. We can help. We'll talk to you about options and together we will come up with a plan to help meet your needs.
STD Testing
& Treatment
It’s important to be in charge of your sexual health. We provide confidential screening and treatment for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich, and mouth and genital herpes. We also test for other common STDs including HIV, syphilis, and Hepatitis B and will provide reputable referrals, if necessary.
Pelvic Pain& Infections
Our certified nurse midwives can screen for and treat vaginal infections and abnormal discharge, bladder infections and other urinary tract infections (UTIs), painful urination (dysuria), and the frequent urge to urinate. We also address and treat pain during or following sexual intercourse.
Sports and Work Physicals
We offer same-day sports physicals for high school athletes and adults and are typically able to complete and return forms at your visit or within 24 hours.
Sports physicals are recommended - or required - for students and adults who will be taking part in school athletics, club sports teams, or new fitness regimens. A typical sports physical consists of two parts: a medical history and a physical examination to evaluate an athlete's general health, current fitness level, and risk of injury.
At Midwifery Arts, we are often able to get you in for a visit the same day!

For most of our services like an annual well-woman exam, pre- and post-natal exams, birth control consultation, sports physical, or STD screening, you can schedule your appointment online, and sometimes the same day. We combine two things you want in your visit, the convenience of scheduling an appointment on a day and time that works for you as well as our undivided attention during that visit.
